Legacy Leaders

Greetings from the Legacy Leaders

The life and witness of IBC are deeply connected to the vision, sacrifice, and spiritual leadership of those who have helped shape and advance this fellowship. In honoring these Legacy Leaders, we recognize the archbishops whose service has helped strengthen our identity, broaden our public witness, and affirm the sacred responsibility of episcopal leadership in the Church. Their voices continue to remind us of the enduring value of unity, service, apostolic order, and faithful leadership across generations and around the world.

The calling to the bishopric is a calling to selflessness. A bishop understands what it means to be a servant to his people and colleagues. He follows the example of the first Apostles and breathes hope where there has been lethargy.

The connection between +I+B+C+ and this regional conference works toward the end of glorifying our Heavenly Father. It is through that shared commitment that leadership, fellowship, and service continue to strengthen the Church.

Grace and peace from God our Father.

The quest for a wider unity among the various Christian denominations is one of the most positive and exciting developments in contemporary Church history. It has made the question of apostolic episcopacy far more than a merely internal issue.

With this concern in mind, I am encouraged by the co-relational alliance that exists between +I+B+C+ and the North American Jurisdiction. Such partnership reflects the importance of unity, shared witness, and mutual support in the life of the Church.

Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church.

The ministry of a bishop is a sacred trust. Those called to this office are entrusted with strengthening the Church, encouraging the faithful, and advancing the Kingdom of God through servant leadership, spiritual oversight, and steadfast devotion to the work of Christ.

Though we serve in different regions of the world, we remain united in one faith, one mission, and one Lord. It is this shared commitment that continues to bind us together in fellowship and purpose as we labor for the edification of the Church and the glory of God.

On behalf of the bishops of +I+B+C+, Inc. Southern Africa, I pray that all who become a part of this fellowship will experience renewal, meaningful connection, and a fresh outpouring of God's wisdom and favor.

May the abundant blessings of God rest upon you, and may all that lies ahead reflect His grace, peace, and divine purpose.
